AUSSIE FENCE CONSTRUCTION 3.2.0.0

INSTANT FENCE - ONE TILE, SWITCHABLE COLOURS
Construction > JAMO MODS > Fencing > Aussie Fence - Instant Panels.
Select this single item, then use the fence tool's Change variant action
shown in the help panel to cycle through the 15 colours before placing.
Posts, rails and sheets change together. Use the normal fence controls to
draw and place complete panels. No materials, tools or concrete required.

MANUAL CONSTRUCTION
Construction > JAMO MODS > Placeables > Fence Starter Peg still starts the
original manual building process. Buy your tools and material pallets as before.

UPDATE
Close FS25, replace both supplied ZIPs without extracting or renaming them,
then restart the game. Previous colour-specific fences remain supported in
existing saves; their old shop tiles are hidden. TerraFarm is not required.

PREVIOUS GUIDE AND UPDATE NOTES (MENU PATH ABOVE TAKES PRECEDENCE)

AUSSIE FENCE CONSTRUCTION 3.1.0.0 - TWO WAYS TO FENCE

INSTANT PLACEMENT
Open Construction > Decorations > Fences. Choose "Aussie Fence - Instant
Panels" in your preferred colour, click the start point, then draw the run
with the normal fence controls shown on screen. Complete posts, rails and
sheets appear together. No digging, pallets, tools or concrete are needed.
The game displays the placement cost. Use normal demolition to remove it.
There are 15 colour entries, with 2.4 m panel templates and 1.8 m height.

MANUAL CONSTRUCTION
Open Construction > JAMO MODS > Placeables and place the fence starter peg.
Plan the route with the peg controls, then buy tools and material pallets.
Drill each hole, place the post, mix and pour concrete, let it cure, then
fit the bottom rail, individual sheets and top rail. The original process
and existing projects remain available. Instant fences are separate objects;
they cannot be converted into a manual construction project.

INSTALL / UPDATE
Close FS25 and replace FS25_AussieFence.zip and FS25_0_JAMO_MODS.zip with
the supplied versions. Keep the filenames, leave both zipped, and enable
them in the single-player save. Restart FS25 to refresh the menus.
TerraFarm is not required.

AUSSIE FENCE CONSTRUCTION 3.0.0.0

INSTALL / UPDATE

Close FS25 completely. Replace FS25_AussieFence.zip in your mods folder,
keeping that exact filename and just one active copy. Keep it zipped. Enable
Aussie Fence Construction for the single-player save. Existing fence positions,
construction progress, stored materials and curing times remain saved.

BUY FROM THE SHOP

Shop > JAMO MODDING > Jamo Modding Tools:
- Reusable String Line hand tool: $15, one reusable span up to 100 m.
- Concrete Bucket hand tool: $25. Must be equipped for filling/pouring.
- DeWalt 20V Drill hand tool: $180. Must be equipped to install sheets.
- Old Shovel hand tool: $45. Must be equipped to mix concrete.

The same Jamo Modding Tools category also contains material pallets:
- Posts pallet: choose 25 / 50 / 75 posts.
- Combined rails pallet: choose 25 / 50 / 75 TOP rails AND the same
number of BOTTOM rails, in separate stacks on one supplied wooden pallet.
- Sheets pallet: choose 25 / 50 / 75 sheets in one tight vertical stack.
- Cement bags pallet: 25 native FS25 25 kg cement bags only.

Also in Jamo Modding Tools:
- Mixing Wheelbarrow: $180. Enter/exit with E; use normal vehicle controls.

Each material pallet includes a $30 pallet charge. Material prices are $28 per
post, $18 per rail, $34 per sheet and $28 per cement bag. Larger quantity options
increase the purchase price. The rail quantity is PER TYPE: 75 means 75 top
rails plus 75 bottom rails, not 75 split between them.

Posts, rails and sheets offer the 15 current standard Colorbond fencing colours
at purchase: Surfmist, Evening Haze, Domain, Paperbark, Dune, Riversand, Shale
Grey, Bluegum, Pale Eucalypt, Wilderness, Wollemi, Woodland Grey, Basalt,
Ironstone and Monument. Choose each material's colour independently. It follows
that material from its pallet to the carried item and the installed fence, and
is saved. Existing fences retain their previous finish. Colour values follow
BlueScope's digital swatches; in-game light changes their appearance.

Transport the physical pallets to your work area. They use the supplied empty
pallet model, fork clearances and collision. All stacked material meshes have
physical collision grouped within the engine's compound limit. Taking an item
updates both its visible stack and collision. On a combined rail pallet, stand
alongside the bottom-rail stack or top-rail stack and read the R prompt before
taking one. The two stocks are tracked independently. Empty pallet mass is 20 kg;
material weight decreases as stock is consumed. Existing paid 10/100-item
pallets keep their remaining stock; new purchases offer only 25/50/75.

Use normal FS25 hand-tool controls to equip bought tools (normally 1/2 and 3).
The start peg is Construction > JAMO MODS > Placeables, $5. No peg menu.

PLAN THE FENCE

1. Place a start peg on your land and close Construction mode.
2. Put the reel away while planning. Walk to the start peg and interact (R).
3. Walk to each corner/end, checking the live peg preview, and press R to place
it. Each new section snaps to complete 2.4 m bays, so all new panels have
equal lengths. Walk onward to add another section from the same corner.
4. After placing the final peg, press Ctrl+Enter to finish the line.

Controls:
- Ctrl+Enter: finish the already placed fence line.
- Ctrl+Backspace: undo the last corner during planning; near the original
position after finishing, clear an unbuilt plan.
- Ctrl+Delete: cancel a planning draft.
- Ctrl+X near a fence: toggle manual building/dismantling.
- Ctrl+R near the original position: take/return stored or recovered material.
- Ctrl+Shift+Delete near the original position, only if a soil conflict exists:
keep the changed landscaping and release the conflicting soil snapshot.

These are regular mod bindings in the controls list. Finish before saving;
planning drafts are temporary. Old saved fences are not moved or resized.
Clear/replan an unbuilt old line if you want the new equal-bay spacing.

MANUALLY BUILD EACH BAY

1. Drill each post hole with the contextual on-foot action (R, 6 seconds).
2. Walk to a bought post pallet and take one post (R). Carry it to a drilled
hole and fit it (R, 4 seconds).
3. Make concrete manually:
   a. Buy the Mixing Wheelbarrow and cement pallet from Jamo Modding Tools.
   b. Take one cement bag from its pallet with R. Carry it to the empty
wheelbarrow and use R beside the bowl to empty it. Wait for the
      bag-emptying animation before adding water.
   c. Bring an OWNED, filled native water tanker within 3 m. It must contain
at least 20 L of WATER. Use R beside the bowl to add that water. Water
is removed from the tank; there is no free water button. Fill the tank
using the game's normal water-filling facilities first.
   d. Equip the bought Old Shovel, then use R beside the bowl to mix for 12 seconds. Stay within 2.1 m. R stops
mixing; the progress is retained and can be resumed.
   e. Equip the bought bucket and press R beside the bowl to fill it with the
mixed batch. Carry it to a fitted post and use R to pour. Putting the
bucket away pauses pouring. Return to that wheelbarrow with R to return
      an uninstalled mixed batch.
   f. Repeat bucket filling for three posts before loading the next bag. The cement is consumed when loaded into the
wheelbarrow; one third of the mix is consumed per successfully filled hole.

Wheelbarrow movement: approach the handles and use normal Enter Vehicle
   (normally E). Move forward/back and steer with normal vehicle controls;
change cameras with C and exit with E. The character stands at the handles.
Exit before loading cement, adding water, mixing or filling the bucket (R).
Movement stops on exit. Mix progress and contents are saved.
   One bag plus 20 L water produces three 80 L gameplay pours for three posts;
aggregate quantities and real concrete mix design are not simulated.

4. Repeat for the posts. Concrete cures in 60 GAME minutes; work on other
holes meanwhile. The finish is flush with the sampled ground.
5. Take a bottom rail from its pallet, carry it to two cured posts and fit it.
6. Take ONE sheet from its pallet, carry it to the bay, equip the bought drill
and install the sheet. Repeat for every individual sheet. The drill pushes
in once, runs with its motor sound while driving, then pulls away at the
end. Putting the drill away stops the task and sound, retaining progress.
7. Take a top rail from its pallet and fit it after all sheets are installed.

Remain on foot within 2.1 m and at least 0.32 m beside the fence. R starts or
stops a task. One material item can be carried at a time. To put it back, return
to its source pallet and interact. The stack loses a unit only on successful
installation. If you save/reload while carrying an unfinished item, it returns
to its source pallet or wheelbarrow; it is not lost or duplicated. Used/empty pallet sale value follows
remaining stock. Empty pallets can be sold for no material value.

USE THE STRING-LINE HAND TOOL

Equip the purchased reel. At any of your planned Aussie Fence pegs/posts, press
R to attach the start. Walk to another post and press R to attach the end. It
can be on another project owned by your farm. Maximum span: 100 m; the entire
span must remain on your land. One roll supports one active span. Buy another
roll if you need another span at the same time.

Equip that same reel near either end and press R to rewind. It stays in your
hand-tool inventory for reuse, rather than becoming a placeable on the ground.
The working line follows grade at about 50 cm height. There is no free automatic
string. Map scenery and other mods' posts are not attachment targets.

OLD PURCHASES AND RECOVERED PARTS

An old placed reel is no longer sold by the shop. Walk to the old reel/line and
press R to exchange it once, free, for the native hand tool. Its attached span
is retained. If inventory cannot accept it, the old reel is kept for retry.

Stored supplies from earlier versions and parts recovered by dismantling are
not discarded. At the original starting position, Ctrl+R takes one stored
material; Ctrl+R there also returns it. Equip the bucket to select stored
concrete, or the drill to select stored sheets. Otherwise posts are taken first,
then rails, then sheets. Stored rails fit either rail position. These items are
also carried manually; there is no automatic supply purchase or peg menu.

For dismantling, Ctrl+X toggles mode. Remove top rails, sheets, bottom rails and
posts, then backfill the holes. Rewind attached strings before removing their
anchors or clearing a plan. Recovered posts/rails/sheets are stored for manual
collection; concrete is not recovered. Use remaining stored parts before selling
the project.

SCOPE / CHECKS

Single-player FS25. Open lines up to 48 m / 20 bays; new bays are 2.4 m. No gates
or closed loops. Level panels can step on slopes; a bay requires reasonably
level ground (at most 22 cm variation). Narrow holes are depth visuals over
intact terrain/collision; native scoopable Dirt grows beside new drilling. Existing
unchanged old craters can recover from their recorded snapshots. Fine terrain
visual displacement can differ from sampled ground.

Editor, scripted workflow, asset and package checks are recorded in VALIDATION.md.
A full live game purchase, first/third-person tool view, forklift transport and
save/reload play-through still needs checking in the user's actual map/mod set.
Look for [AussieFence] 2.6.0.0 loaded in log.txt if diagnosing installation.

V2.3 CHANGES
- Partial top rows are centred as materials are taken, including 25/50/75 packs.
- Supplied wooden pallet appearance retained, with open four-way fork channels.
Approach straight with forks centred on the openings, below the top deck.
- Native game cement-bag pallets also work: R takes/returns one 25 kg bag;
loading it consumes exactly one bag through the original pallet's fill unit.
- Cement bags keep their native paper textures when carried and stacked.
- One new bag + 20 L water + mixing supplies three post holes. The bowl empties
in thirds. Existing saved 80 L mixes keep their original remaining amount.
- Wheel mesh, axle pivot and left/right hand/foot targets corrected.

V2.4 CHANGES
- Equipped string reel, bucket, drill and shovel sit in front of the camera.
- Sheets are carried with the broad face forward.
- Below-ground post shading follows the purchased post colour.
- Fine grey concrete textures replace the terrain/soil appearance. The fill
surface remains visible above the inner bowl through all three pours.
- Raised grips and revised hand targets keep the pushing stance within reach.
- Human-supported upright balance acts while the barrow is entered/pushed;
horizontal movement still uses dynamic collision. Entering rights a toppled
barrow. Exit before mixing. Do not equip another tool while mixing unless
you want to pause; progress remains saved.
- Native vehicle save-schema registration now includes material quantities,
capacity, colour and remaining wheelbarrow mix. Previous log errors showed
these attributes were not always written. Missing historic used-stock counts
cannot be inferred reliably; new saves record them. Existing fence positions
and colour data that were successfully saved remain unchanged.

V2.5 CHANGES
- Restore wheelbarrow movement by supporting balance with angular velocity,
instead of rewriting its physical rotation and mass properties every frame.
- Reduce angular damping so steering works. Entering rights it once; forward,
reverse and steering still use the normal vehicle controls and collision.
- Standing push-tool arm limits replace seated-driver arm limits before the
first pose solve. Wrist targets now follow the native standing-push example.
- Turn the equipped drill to point forward and move the shovel 8 cm forward
and 3 cm farther out from the player.
- New cement pallets contain 25 bags only. Previously saved larger pallets
retain their recorded stock. Steel pallets still offer 25 / 50 / 75.
- Concrete follows the actual tapered rectangular bowl cross-section with
rounded corners, instead of an oval surface.

V2.6 CHANGES
- Construction menu: Jamo > Fencing for the starting peg. Material pallets are
in Jamo Materials, tools in Jamo Hand Tools, barrow in Jamo Equipment.
- All shop/build item pictures use the four supplied Jamo pictures, matched
to sheets, rails, posts and concrete. Their aspect ratio is preserved.
- New holes produce approximately 80 L loose Dirt, adjusted to the map's
material resolution. It is native tip-to-ground material in BULK/SHOVEL:
use a compatible skid steer/loader bucket to scoop it up and transport it.
The bucket shows the Dirt fill and its litres; the original terrain beneath
new piles is kept level. Fitting posts no longer removes this loose dirt.
- Existing heightmap mounds from older releases keep their saved restoration
behaviour; they are not silently converted into new material.
- The first sheet installation selects the front side for the whole line,
including corners. Finish all sheets from that side. Crossing the line
pauses installation; return to the original side and resume. Existing
installed fences retain their previous orientation. The side is saved.
- Fence collision uses closely bounded simple meshes while retaining detailed
visible posts/rails/sheets. Task lists are cached and native cement-pallet
discovery runs once per second instead of every frame.
- Mixing now dips, drags, lifts and returns the shovel rather than spinning it.

Restart FS25 completely after updating so the Dirt fill type and Jamo categories
are registered. A map must have three free ground-material type slots and support
small tip-to-ground piles. A bucket with BULK or SHOVEL support accepts Dirt;
attachments with a fixed list of individual fill types need to support
JAMO_DIRT / JAMO_GRAVEL / JAMO_SAND.
Loose piles and dirt carried in native buckets are saved by the game itself.

V2.7 CHANGES
- Uses your existing shared Jamo Modding Categories menu. The five supplied
category logos replace Vehicles/Tools/Placeables and build-tab artwork.
Without the shared helper installed, this pack supplies the same menu.
- All four hand tools, wheelbarrow and material pallets are in Jamo Tools.
The fence starter is in Jamo Placeables, including the build menu.
- Supplied Meshy string spool replaces the held and attached green reel.
- Supplied petrol earth auger replaces the hole-digging prop. Its motor and
handles stay fixed while the helical bit spins and lowers into the hole.
- Digging plays the supplied Hyundai engine recording; sheet installation
plays the supplied impact drill recording. Pausing/finishing stops sound.
- New excavations sample the map surface: earth under dirt/grass/soil,
aggregate for gravel/roads/rock, and sand for sand. Hole colour is saved.
Loose spoil uses the corresponding scoopable Dirt, Gravel or Sand fill.
Fine soil replaces the old coarse black-rock appearance.
- Custom map surfaces without matching metadata use colour/depth fallback;
unusual map materials may need a map-specific adjustment.

V2.8 MATERIAL FIX
Fully close and restart FS25 after replacing the ZIP. The repaired native
terrain textures are loaded at map startup. Saved JAMO_DIRT/GRAVEL/SAND piles
keep their stock and receive the repaired textures after restarting. Older
hole colours are refreshed when loaded. Hole dimensions are unchanged.

Dirt uses warm earthy clod detail and a matte surface, including bucket fill.
The auger and spool use the supplied full-resolution material maps. Lighting
will differ from the model preview screenshots.

TerraFarm's supplied FS22 source was reviewed for material selection and
volume accounting. This mod uses the FS25 equivalents directly; do not install
the FS22 TerraFarm archive as a dependency for this fence update.

V2.9 UPDATE
Close FS25 completely, replace FS25_AussieFence.zip and restart.
Buy the four material pallets in Jamo Modding Pallets. Hand tools and the
wheelbarrow remain in Jamo Modding Tools. Only the starter peg is offered by
this pack in construction; the old reel stays readable for saved games only.
The bottom-left custom overlay is removed. Normal action prompts still work.
Wider spoil spreading applies to new drilling. Existing deposited piles stay
where they were and can still be scooped up. No TerraFarm dependency.

V3.0 INSTALL
Install both FS25_AussieFence.zip (3.0.0.0) and FS25_0_JAMO_MODS.zip (2.0.0.3).
The shared helper now owns Jamo Modding Pallets. A final startup pass repairs
routing performed by older Jamo menu copies bundled with other packs.
New excavation is distributed over eight nearby points. Saved piles remain
where originally deposited and can be removed with a loader bucket.
