Realistic Crop Pests 1.0.0.2 - data/source notes

This file documents the real-world mapping basis. It is not an agricultural use instruction.

DE/EU products used in the game database:
- CORAGEN (chlorantraniliprole): FMC Germany; European corn borer / Colorado potato beetle among represented targets.
- Nexsuba (spinosad): FMC Germany; European corn borer / Colorado potato beetle among represented targets.
- MOSPILAN SG (acetamiprid): FMC Germany / German registration information; Colorado potato beetle, aphids and pollen beetle among represented targets.
- Teppeki (flonicamid): Certis Belchim Germany; aphid specialist in arable crops.
- Carnadine (acetamiprid): Nufarm Germany; cabbage stem flea beetle adult and larvae in oilseed rape.
- Carnadine 200 (acetamiprid): Nufarm Germany; oilseed rape weevils, cereal aphids and Colorado potato beetle among represented targets.
- Karate Zeon (lambda-cyhalothrin): Syngenta Germany; broad registered spectrum including cereal aphids/cereal leaf beetle and biting pests in oilseed rape.
- Decis forte (deltamethrin): Bayer CropScience Germany; biting/sucking arable pests including relevant cereal and crop uses.

Pest occurrence/host and climate parameters are simulation-oriented and should be calibrated from EPPO/CABI/extension literature per region. The game never represents label rates.

Current registrations change. For real farming, only the current national authorization, label and official advisory service apply.

READY-MIX IBC PRICE BASIS (Germany, checked 2026-08-31; net trade prices, rounded to whole game euros)
The shop IBC is 1000 L of ready-mixed spray liquid, NOT 1000 L of concentrate.
Calculation: concentrate amount in 1000 L ready mix = label dose per ha / reference water volume per ha * 1000.
Reference uses the strongest represented arable indication that determines the IBC concentration; where the label specifies a range, the minimum permitted water volume for that indication is used. Water cost is treated as negligible. These are game-economic reference calculations, not mixing instructions.

- CORAGEN: market 243.00 EUR/L net; reference 0.125 L/ha in min. 300 L/ha -> 0.4167 L concentrate equivalent/1000 L -> 101.25 EUR -> game price 101 EUR.
- Nexsuba: market 410.00 EUR/L net; reference 0.2 L/ha in min. 300 L/ha -> 0.6667 L/1000 L -> 273.33 EUR -> game price 273 EUR.
- MOSPILAN SG: market 85.52 EUR/kg net; reference 0.25 kg/ha in min. 200 L/ha -> 1.25 kg/1000 L -> 106.90 EUR -> game price 107 EUR.
- Teppeki: market 194.42 EUR/kg net; reference 0.16 kg/ha in min. 200 L/ha -> 0.80 kg/1000 L -> 155.54 EUR -> game price 156 EUR.
- Carnadine: market 87.52 EUR/L net; reference 0.20 L/ha in min. 200 L/ha -> 1.00 L/1000 L -> 87.52 EUR -> game price 88 EUR.
- Carnadine 200: market 84.39 EUR/L net; reference 0.25 L/ha in min. 200 L/ha -> 1.25 L/1000 L -> 105.49 EUR -> game price 105 EUR.
- Karate Zeon: market 108.10 EUR/L net; reference 0.075 L/ha in min. 200 L/ha -> 0.375 L/1000 L -> 40.54 EUR -> game price 41 EUR.
- Decis forte: market 70.32 EUR/L net; reference 0.075 L/ha in min. 200 L/ha -> 0.375 L/1000 L -> 26.37 EUR -> game price 26 EUR.

SPRAYER CONSUMPTION BASIS (v1.0.0.2)
RCP uses ready-mixed spray-liquid carrier volume, not concentrate volume, for tank drain. The per-hectare carrier rates are based on representative/current German arable label water-volume ranges for the represented uses. For in-game consistency the lower practical/reference water volume is used unless the selected target in the database needs a higher minimum.
- CORAGEN: maize / European corn borer 300 L/ha; Colorado potato beetle reference 400 L/ha.
- Nexsuba: maize / European corn borer 300 L/ha; Colorado potato beetle 200 L/ha.
- MOSPILAN SG: aphid / pollen beetle reference 200 L/ha; Colorado potato beetle 300 L/ha.
- Teppeki: 200 L/ha.
- Carnadine: 200 L/ha.
- Carnadine 200: 200 L/ha.
- Karate Zeon: 200 L/ha for represented arable targets.
- Decis forte: 200 L/ha for represented arable targets.

Precision Farming 3.0 integration: RCP keeps the nominal L/ha on the area that is actually treated and scales tank drain by the active nozzle/section fraction when PF extended sprayer effects are available. This mirrors PWM/automatic section control savings instead of applying a fictional flat PF discount. WeedSeeker weed detection is not repurposed as an insect sensor.

1.0.0.34 control/life-cycle notes
- Mospilan/acetamiprid: whitefly use represented for regions where the product/active is used against sucking pests; brown planthopper receives deliberately reduced efficacy because IRAC documents widespread Group 4A resistance.
- Decis/deltamethrin: European western corn rootworm mapping is adult-only; foliar spraying does not remove root-feeding larvae.
- Wireworm remains a soil/rotation/tillage management pest; no fictional foliar IBC was added.
- Arrival stages now distinguish adult immigrants/overwinterers, soil larvae and egg-laying moth infestations.
