JAGTECH PERFORMANCE UPGRADES
Real Engine and Transmission Upgrades for Farming Simulator 25

Transform compatible Farming Simulator 25 vehicles with selectable engine and
transmission upgrades that provide real performance improvements, not merely
cosmetic configuration names.

Performance Upgrades adds two separate shop categories, allowing you to build
each vehicle around the work it needs to perform. Increase engine power,
improve transmission cooling and experience realistic consequences when a
vehicle is overloaded, operated with insufficient horsepower or left spinning
its wheels under load.

ENGINE PERFORMANCE UPGRADES

- Standard: Factory engine power
- Intercooler: +10% power
- Valve Train: +15% power
- Displacement: +20% power
- Crank & Pistons: +40% power
- ECU: +50% power
- Turbo: +100% power

Every upgrade modifies the vehicle's actual runtime torque curve and peak
engine output. The upgraded power is used by vehicle physics, implements,
power-consumer calculations and compatible gameplay systems.

The normal FS25 shop specification automatically displays the correct upgraded
HP and kW for the selected engine and vehicle configuration. Upgrade prices
scale according to the vehicle's original purchase price, while minimum prices
prevent powerful upgrades from becoming unrealistically cheap on inexpensive
vehicles.

PROGRESSIVE ENGINE SOUND

The vehicle's existing engine sound becomes progressively louder and more
aggressive with every upgrade stage. The final Turbo upgrade adds an original
JAGTECH turbo engine layer and a throttle-release blow-off sound after turbo
pressure has built, giving fully upgraded vehicles a much stronger
high-performance sound without replacing the vehicle's original sound character.

SEPARATE TRANSMISSION UPGRADES

Engine and transmission upgrades are selected independently.

- Standard
- Finned Transmission Cover
- Clutch Upgrade for manual transmissions
- Torque Converter Upgrade for automatic, CVT, IVT and hydrostatic transmissions
- Oil Cooler
- Oil Flow Upgrade
- Bearing Upgrade
- Gears Upgrade

The mod automatically chooses between the Clutch Upgrade and Torque Converter
Upgrade according to the selected motor configuration. Mixed-transmission
vehicles such as CommandQuad/AutoPower models follow the transmission paired
with the selected engine option without unsupported vehicle XML lookups.

When Advanced Damage System is active, the stages reduce positive transmission
heat buildup by 10%, 18%, 30%, 40%, 50% and 60% respectively. They improve heat
management without making the transmission immune to damage. Severe overload,
insufficient power or sustained wheel spin can still cause overheating.

ADVANCED DAMAGE SYSTEM INTEGRATION

Performance Upgrades uses the complete live drivetrain state provided by
FS25_AdvancedDamageSystem, including actual upgraded horsepower, live engine
torque and load, ADS torque losses, implement power ratings, active PTO demand,
PTO clutch-slip losses, draft resistance, heavy trailers, native overload,
drivetrain stress, grounded driven-wheel slip, temperatures, cooling faults,
radiator dirt, ambient temperature and speed-based cooling.

Correctly powered rated equipment does not receive false overload heat simply
because the vehicle originally had less power.

For example, an upgraded vehicle producing 650 HP is correctly matched to an
active 450 HP implement. However, a vehicle producing only 603 HP while
operating equipment requiring 640 HP has a confirmed horsepower deficit. That
deficit can increase engine and transmission temperature, wear, stress and
breakdown risk.

A genuine overload can push the engine and an ADS-simulated CVT or hydrostatic
transmission beyond 90 C. Engine upgrades also increase ADS service wear and
engine-condition wear. Transmission upgrades add no artificial baseline wear.

MUD SYSTEM PHYSICS INTEGRATION

Performance Upgrades is 100% compatible with FS25_MudSystemPhysics. Mud System
Physics changes traction, soil resistance, wheel sinking and engine demand
through FS25's live physics system. Performance Upgrades and Advanced Damage
System read the resulting grounded driven-wheel slip and motor load.

Even when a tractor has sufficient horsepower for the attached equipment,
sitting in mud and spinning its driven wheels under load can still generate
realistic engine and transmission heat. Airborne wheels are not treated as
grounded overload events.

RECOMMENDED FULL EXPERIENCE

- FS25_AdvancedDamageSystem
- FS25_MudSystemPhysics

Both companion mods are optional. Performance Upgrades can operate without
them, and its shop configurations, upgraded engine output, torque changes,
sounds and normal vehicle performance will still work.

Advanced Damage System is required for the complete temperature, wear, stress,
service and breakdown simulation. Mud System Physics adds realistic terrain
resistance, sinking, traction loss and mud-related wheel spin.

MULTIPLAYER SUPPORT

Performance Upgrades supports multiplayer. The server and every joining player
should use the same mod versions.

INSTALLATION

1. Place FS25_PerformanceUpgrades.zip inside the Farming Simulator 25 mods
   folder without extracting it.
2. Activate the mod when loading or creating a savegame.
3. Purchase or reconfigure a compatible motorised vehicle in the shop.
4. Select the preferred engine and transmission upgrades.
