Collision Damage
Version 1.1.0.0

Description
-----------
Collision Damage adds additional vehicle damage after stronger collisions in Farming Simulator 25.

The mod uses the existing in-game damage and repair system. It does not add visible deformation. Instead, the normal damage value of the affected vehicle or tool increases and can then be repaired as usual in the workshop.

How It Works
------------
The mod works automatically in the background. No hotkeys are required.

It can detect, among other things:
- frontal collisions,
- angled impacts,
- side impacts,
- stronger collisions with buildings, walls, trees and other solid obstacles,
- collisions between usable vehicles, trailers and tools.

When two usable vehicles, trailers or tools collide, the hit object can receive the same additional damage amount if it has its own damage system.

The following are not damaged:
- buildings themselves,
- trees themselves,
- terrain,
- water planes,
- map boundaries,
- common interaction areas such as loading, selling, buying, workshop or sleep triggers,
- traffic and other objects without their own damage system,
- attached tools or trailers that belong to the same vehicle train.

Damage Amount Setting
---------------------
The damage amount can be adjusted in the ESC menu under game settings.

Available values:
- 0 percent,
- 25 percent,
- 50 percent,
- 75 percent,
- 100 percent,
- 125 percent,
- 150 percent,
- 200 percent,
- 300 percent.

100 percent matches the normal default effect of the mod. The setting is stored outside the savegame in the mod settings.

Multiplayer
-----------
The mod is intended for multiplayer savegames. Damage calculation runs on the server side. Therefore, the host or server setting is the one that matters.

Notes
-----
Very slow maneuvering should not cause additional damage. The mod only reacts when an impact is strong enough and an actual foreign collision object is detected.

The additional damage uses the game's existing damage system. Repairs, display and saving therefore work through the normal game mechanics.
